This Privacy Policy explains how Bahrain Hands — an online marketplace for handmade crafts in the Kingdom of Bahrain — handles the personal information we collect through our website and services. - Information you provide: when you create an account, place an order, or contact us, we collect data such as your name, phone number and email address.
- Order & delivery information: we collect your shipping address (city, block, road, building), the recipient phone number, and your order history in order to deliver your purchases.
- Cash on Delivery: the only payment method today is cash on delivery. We therefore do NOT collect or store any credit/debit card details.
- Seller (artisan) information: if you open a shop, we collect your store details and the banking information needed to pay you (IBAN, bank name, bank certificate).
- Content you create: when you write product reviews or ratings, we collect that content and its associated data.
- Automatically collected information: we collect limited data about your device and use of the service (such as device type, IP address, and pages viewed) via cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve the site.
How we use your information and why
- To create, manage and secure your account.
- To process your orders, deliver your products, communicate about them, and facilitate returns and refunds.
- To transfer sellers’ earnings to their bank accounts via Fawri.
- To improve the service, personalize your experience, and recommend products that may interest you.

How we share your information and why
- Sellers (artisans): to fulfil your order we share the necessary delivery details (name, shipping address, phone, order details) with the relevant seller. Sellers are not shown to buyers in the interface, but need this data to prepare and ship the order.
- Service providers: we share information with parties that help us run the service (such as hosting and courier/delivery companies), and require them to use it only as needed to perform their services.
- Authorities & legal compliance: we may share information with competent authorities when necessary to comply with the law or protect our rights and those of our users.
- We do not sell your personal information.

- You can request deletion of your account and information, subject to legal requirements.
