Thank you for using Bahrain Hands! These Terms of Use contain the rules that govern your use of our website and services. By using or registering for the service, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these terms, that you are at least 18 years old, and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the service.

Overview

  • These terms form a binding agreement between you and Bahrain Hands, an online marketplace for handmade crafts in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
  • We may change these terms at any time. For material changes, we will update the “last updated” date and post the new version; material changes take effect for existing users 30 days after posting.
  • Your use may also be subject to additional policies such as the Privacy Policy; in case of conflict, the relevant policy applies.

Registration and account

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the service.
  • You agree to provide true, accurate and up-to-date information, and you are responsible for all activity that happens through your account.
  • Keep your password confidential and do not share it; notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • You may not create multiple accounts or impersonate anyone else.

Rules and acceptable use

  • Use the service for your personal purposes only and in compliance with the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
  • Prohibited: fraud, violating others’ rights or intellectual property, posting offensive or unlawful content, abusing promotions or manipulating prices, or manipulating reviews.
  • Automated scraping of the site, attempts to breach its systems, or harvesting other users’ data are prohibited.
  • If you break these rules, we may remove content, cancel orders, or suspend or terminate your account.

User content (reviews)

  • Ratings and reviews are available only to verified buyers and must be honest and based on your own experience.
  • We may review, reject or remove content at our discretion, especially if it is misleading, abusive, or violates these terms.

Sellers and orders

  • Orders are fulfilled by the registered sellers (artisans) on the platform. We provide the platform and support to facilitate purchases and delivery.
  • Arranging a sale or payment outside the platform to avoid its fees is a material breach of these terms.
  • Sellers agree to the commission set when opening their shop, and their earnings are transferred to their bank accounts via Fawri after orders are fulfilled.

Purchases and payment

  • Read the full product details before buying. Prices are in Bahraini Dinar and include applicable service fees.
  • The current payment method is cash on delivery. We do not collect payment card details.
  • We strive to display accurate information, but pricing or description errors may occur; we may correct them or cancel affected orders.

Returns and refunds

  • Your satisfaction matters. For return, refund and buyer-protection terms, see the Delivery Guarantee & Buyer Protection.

Termination

  • You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

  • The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law.
  • To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. This does not limit any mandatory rights granted to you by consumer-protection law.

General

  • Governing law: these terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the courts of the Kingdom of Bahrain have jurisdiction over any dispute.
  • If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining terms stay in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it.
  • Arabic and English versions are provided for convenience; in case of conflict, the Arabic version prevails within the Kingdom of Bahrain.

🚚 Delivery Guarantee

We work with trusted couriers to deliver your order safely and on time across Bahrain. If anything goes wrong with delivery, we are committed to making it right.

  • 1.500 BHD credit for late delivery

    If your order is not delivered by the last estimated delivery date, we credit you 1.500 BHD toward your next order. Delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (natural events, wrong addresses) are excluded.

  • Return if the item arrives damaged

    Because you pay on delivery, you may inspect the item in front of the courier. If it arrives damaged or not as described, you may refuse it without paying anything, or request a full replacement/refund within the return window.

  • Refund if not delivered within 15 days

    If your order does not arrive within 15 days of confirmation, it is cancelled automatically and you pay nothing (Cash on Delivery). You are never charged for an order you did not receive.

Your peace of mind matters. If you are not happy with an item, returning it is easy.

  • First return is free within 7 days

    Your first return is free within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is in its original condition. Custom/made-to-order handmade pieces may be excluded.

  • 30-day return eligibility

    You may request a return of eligible items within 30 days of purchase for a full refund when returned in original condition.

You only pay when your order reaches you.

  • Pay cash at your door

    You pay the order total in cash to the courier at handover, after confirming all your items arrived. No card or upfront payment needed.

Every piece is handmade by local artisans in Bahrain.

  • Authentic handmade items

    We vet sellers before approving them to ensure items are genuinely handmade. Small variations between pieces are natural and part of the beauty of handmade craft.
